Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant

|Description:||Responsible for delivering customer equipment to their location and installing equipment onsite. Also assists in the warehouse with general warehouse duties, such as pulling, packing and shipping orders.|
Works with Inventory Control Specialist and Warehouse Supervisor to verify machines to be delivered.
Works closely with Installation Coordinator to meet the established delivery schedule
Utilizes GPS system to navigate and deliver within the DFW metroplex
Must install accessories onsite and make initial first copy to ensure machine is functional
Communicate with Customer Care Center to establish network connectivity
Direct contact with customers during delivery
Acquires customer signatures on delivery and acceptance forms
Load and unload specific customer equipment on delivery truck.
Must blanket and strap equipment in truck in order to minimize movement while traveling.
Fills out truck maintenance log on a weekly basis.
Ensures proper paperwork is completed on a daily basis regarding deliveries.
Receiving and stocking of copier supplies and equipment.
Backfill supply order filling / packing / shipping via UPS and couriers.
Unboxing and staging of copier equipment.
General assistance in warehouse as needed.
Must operate a stair climber and forklift as necessary.
Requires valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Other duties as assigned. Management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years driving a delivery truck with emphasis on copier delivery and installation a plus.
Manual lifting up to 75 pounds.
Exposure to extreme heat and cold while loading and unloading trucks.
Exposure to normal warehouse working environment exposure to dust, dirt, heat, cuts, scratches, bruises, etc.
Ability to use a variety of office equipment computer, phone, fax, copier, GPS, etc.
Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to stoop, bend, push, pull, lift above head and climb as necessary.
Exceptional customer service skills
Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Products
Strong communication skills, including listening and questioning
